This is one of my favorite spots along that drive between my parents' house and my house. It's also outside Meridian, TX, which a town that claims to be the top of the hill country. This is one dramatic hill to come around
And here's a smattering of bluebonnets at this same stop. I love this time of year!

Lovely photos. We didn't take any drives to see wildflowers this year. Time got away from us, and now it's 95 degrees!
Wow, that is a hill! I have heard so much about Texas bluebonnets, maybe one day we'll be there the time of year they are blooming. Great pictures! :)

bluebonnets are very cool flowers, though they won't grow here for sure.
