Tonight was the Girl Scouts Leader Appreciation Dinner for our area. We got a free dinner, but also our older Junior girls got recognized for their Bronze Award (the highest award at this level). That's what this picture is showing---the girls' recognition, with us 3 leaders standing behind. I didn't have much to do with their work, though! The parents of these girls in particular were the ones who supported them through their project development and follow-through. Their project was helping at the animal shelter.

Day 13---Sunday

Day 343---Monday

This one's blurry, but I must blame it either on the lady who took it for me, or the fact that I did not make sure the flash would fire. I'm a bit washed out!

This is again from Saturday, at the library. I took pictures these days, but I took pictures of the kids in my room, and I just don't want to show their faces. So you get to see the good ones I took all in one day! ;-)

Day 234---Friday

This wasn't taken on Friday---or by me! This was after I skated with B. My face is all red, I'm sweaty, but you can kind of see my haircut I just got on Thursday. Better picture later---I hope.

Yes, Mom I do have the too-hot face with the white around my mouth and unseen eyes. Rest assured, our next stop was to get a drink at Sonic.

Day 169---Wednesday

Just so you know, I have some friends!! I'm the one in the striped shirt. I am sunburned a bit! It was P's birthday (she's in the gray), and we ate at Dairy Queen with all our kids.

Day 146---Monday

The rain stopped for long enough this afternoon we went out to skate on my new skates. Okay, I look pretty dorky, but I had a lot of fun. I wouldn't look so funny if I didn't wear these pads everywhere. I didn't fall even once---I don't need them, right? But B looks really cute!

We went to the Wolf Pen district for our skating----it's under development now, but it's Great! It has really wide paths that have gentle rise and fall to them and the trees are tall and shady. Lots of informational signs are scattered throughout, telling about plants and such. We took the path that goes behind all those restaurants on Harvey (if you're local and know what I mean!), so we ended up at Sonic, and had a cool drink. Yum! Definitely a diversion we'll be doing again.

Day 137---Saturday

This is me, holding my newest plaque. I was nominated by my co-workers for Preschool Classroom Teacher of the Year for our area. And I got it! :-)

(I really wish I had powdered my face a bit before my hubby snapped the picture!)

Day 77----Tuesday

I kinda hate this shiny-face picture, but it's all I got for Tuesday! B was learning about India at her Girl Scout meeting. (Thanks, J for the photography.) This is after a long day at the pre-school!

Day 76---Monday

This picture was inspired by a scrapbooking site called Scrapbook Addict. The hostess is suggesting a picture prompt for every day of March. This was Sunday's but I thought it would be a interesting challenge. I am also playing with black and white---with digital, it changes from color to B/W at the click of a button!

When we were together last week, my sister and I both were looking at our hands thinking they looked old. The palm side still looks good! This is the left hand in case anyone reads palms.

Day 55---Monday

I goofed again, and I didn't take a picture on Monday! So I give you this picture that B took of me on Tuesday. My makeup is mostly worn off by this part of the afternoon, but I thought this looked pretty good.

Day 37---Thursday

This is us on Sticky Chins Day---Feb. 8th. We've now been going our for 17 years!! I was only 18 (and and 5/6) when I started dating Larry, so I've almost been with him half my life now. Isn't that weird??
