Our home has had a permanent Perler Bead station going for a few days now. In case you don't know, these little plastic beads are ironed together on plastic templates to make little . . . "things" the kids really like. J is working on making super-hero-animal Perler bead creations. Superman-butterfly? Spiderman-cat? He's made at least 12 of them in the last 3 days! We had a couple of friends over this morning, and the kids kept busy doing this. The great thing is, you have to be so still and controlled to make what you want, it makes the household generally quiet! ;-) J and B both have been ironing their own things, so this summer, it's been a really great thing to do, in my opinion!Sunday, July 1, 2007
