Here's the new dryer!! Now I can wash all those blankets you see. :-)

January Photo 2

It's J---heading out the door!

December photo 25

This is Christmas morning Santa stuff. Our rug makes it look crazier than it really is.

B got some gum, socks, lotion, and Easy Bake Oven cake mix in her stocking. Jamie got candy, Star Wars Christmas figures, a memory card for his new camera, man lotion, and pens. They got lots of stuff, each one lovingly picked out!

December Photo 23

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care . . .

J is wearing a favorite outfit (including his self-modified gloves) while he recovers from the fever.

December photo 12

I was trying to get a good photo of my backyard from my window. It seemed so cozy and wintery! And I was home with J, who was sick. It was a nice day. The snow was gone when the sunlight hit the yard.

August Photo 19

Our small electrical fire!!
Another freaky moment this week.
All is well, and it was checked out by a professional.
Don't you worry.

August Photo 13

Tragedy struck one Sunday afternoon---B's toenail got ripped from it's nailbed. I was a little freaked out, but this happened to Larry once, so he got it all bandaged. It was an accident. J pushed open her bedroom door over the top of her foot. ug! makes me hurt!

July Photo 30

We took J to a movie and to Burger King when B was spending the night with a friend. They have built a new one on Hwy 21 next to the McDonald's, and it's really nice inside. Of course we had to take a hat, and I had to set up a funny photo op. This shirt is one we sent to J in a box we mailed to camp. He says now he needs green, yellow and purple Hawaiian shirts to complete his rainbow collection.

July Photo 25

This is still messy, but it shows the nice "wood" and how it looks with some of our furniture. I'll be putting things back for many days . . . but i am determined that this is a good time to get things sorted out nicely and not clutter it up too much again!

July Photo 24

I thought this might be the hardest part we did in our living/dining room, but it wasn't. The black edges are sticky, so they stick to the next piece we lay down. Larry's been really good about getting the seams to go together tightly.

July Photo 23

Here is one solid strip from the sliding glass door in the dining room to the front door. Our plan is to move the furniture off an area, we clean it up really good, and then put flooring dowm there. then we slide the furniture a little more, and do it again.

You can see we haven't done the edge of the wall are yet, but we'll get it later.

Here is the very beginning of our project. It's vinal flooring---very easy to put in, can cut it with only a knife (no extra tools to buy), and we got 28 boxes within our budget. I think we're really going to make it happen. :-)

Lar and I are on a working vacation. He's off this week as the kids are off at camp. And I'm working on Tuesday, but off the rest of the week. We've been enjoying just being a couple again---or at least I have. :-) Larry can leave a comment if he feels otherwise.

We have not had a whole week alone since J was born---in 1995!
:-) I feel like a different person. :-) In a good way.

July Photo 19

Here is our truck after we bought the flooring. I don't know if you can tell, but it's sitting Much lower than usual. 28 boxes!

Day 31---Thursday

This phone is about to go the way of the dinosaurs. Our land line has become obsolete (despite the warnings of my friends that when terrorists attack, the satellites will go first and we'll all be without phone service). We don't use it too much, and all long distance was on the cell phones anyway. This phone was costing me about $55 a month. We're going to add one more cell line for $10. The 3rd cell will be the home phone---in case one of the kids are home alone. The phone line will switch to data only---we gotta maintain the DSL service!
