I'm posting this a day ahead of the date---photo 23 on day 22. But I've just had some good photos lately. Since that weekend, I've barely even picked up a camera.

This is at my parents' house, and B got to visit with her cousins---who were in TX from Utah. I wanted to pick a photo of the day with all three of them in it.

Day 355---Saturday

It's Santa hat time!

These are my kids with their cousin S, my sister's little 2 and a half year old. We were at my Dad and Mom's house.

Day 325---Thursday, Thanksgiving

This is Larry's sis and B. B wanted to know how to crochet, so we asked if L' sis could teach both her and me. I think we got a good start. It's always easier if someone shows you rather than reading a book's instructions. We were at her house for Thanksgiving this year. It was a time of over eating and family fun. I didn't take a picture of our little cute (great) nephew!

Day 250---Sunday

Day 249---Saturday

I didn't take many pictures at Mom and dad's, but this is one of their remodeled living room/kitchen. I thought the morning light lit up the "breakfast nook" (?) area nicely. I couldn't take any pictures that my Dad had not taken already, really!

Day 220---Friday

This was the day of the funeral.

Of course when there is a funeral, people get together who don't see each other very often. We had not seen this sibling pair in a long time. This is Ben and Jodi, who are Larry's niece and nephew. (The kids of his older brother, Mike, the 3rd child of his dad.) There is a family resemblance! We hadn't seen them in like 8 years, maybe? So they were teens the last we saw them. Now Ben is 24 and has a 2 year old boy and a stepson, age ten. Whew! Time flies.

It seemed too weird to take pictures at the funeral, but I almost wish I did. What is your feeling on that? We had the service at the funeral home, and then a Masonic service graveside plus a military 21-gun salute from the VFW. It was all pretty nice.

Day 172---Saturday

It was B's softball party, and I got this one of the three other people in my family. (And a random other pool-goer.) The girls from the team had a lot of fun. :-)

I like this picture better, though, a fast shot from my hubby as J goes down the slide (from a bridge above the slide).

Day 131---Sunday

The picture of the day was taken by my Dad today. This is My Mom, me, and my daughter, B, on Mother's Day. Three generations of women!

I'm wearing a new shirt Mom bought for me, and B is wearing a new dress that GeeGee bought for her. We were just getting home from church. After this, we changed in to gardening clothes, ate our lunch---pot roast Dad had cooked---and planted the plants I had brought. Then B and I got a quick dip in the hot tub!

This is a shot I took near my parents' home. A storm is a-brewing! Fortunately for me on my 4 hour drive home, I kept the storm to my left the whole while, just getting a few sprinkles here and there.

Day 130---Saturday

Mom got these flowers from my sister while we were at her house this weekend. They came by UPS----a day late and UPside down! Why would a guy not pay attention to the 3 visible UP signs with arrows on the box?? But they came through it all okay. Pretty flowers!! I had also gotten my mom plants---Caladiums.

B and I went for the weekend, just us girls and we got to go shopping also. We all got some cute inexpensive sandals and some clothes for B and I. We also went to eat at Pastafina----a local favorite---for our Mother's Day meal on Saturday.
